Savings thanks to sustainable staff development

Due to the project, the leading family-run company with an international footprint was able to extensively further develop its employees and core processes in supply change management, in turn, recording significant savings. In a three-part advanced training program, HÖVELER HOLZMANN CONSULTING initially taught theoretical basics, which the participants then strengthened in actual practice simulations in the in-house "procurement lab" specifically designed for this purpose. Afterwards, the optimized processes were implemented in everyday life in "co-sourcing," i.e., accompanied by a consultant.

"The collaboration was very trustful right from the start. HÖVELER HOLZMANN CONSULTING was outstandingly successful in further developing our employees, not least because a very customized approach was taken for each single individual, and theoretical basics were quickly strengthened by practical exercises in the procurement lab," says Jürgen Freund, Chief Procurement Officer of B. Braun.

This year already marks the eighth time that the WirtschaftsWoche honors Germany’s best consultants. Following the pre-selection, expert assessment and evaluation of the projects, an advisory board comprised of academic specialist representatives submits projects and customer surveys of three projects in each case and in every category to the jury. In addition, it nominates up to three projects each for the special prizes digitalization, innovation and pro bono.
